The restaurant on the farm is located inside the original old barn. More than a hundred years old stone walls and authentic timber constructions make a truly spectacular interiour with a unique atmosphere.
Our renowned kitchen gets lot of its inspiration from fresh produce in its own kitchen garaden, from the orchard "Vetle Hardanger" and off course from skillful local farmers. 3 main criterias constitute the base which our chef base her work upon: quality, season and local produce. We at Eikhaugen Gjestegard all feel tremendous proud and happy being able to offer our wonderful guests authentic, local slow food prepared with passion and love for local produce and nature.
